Father Cassius
Throughout the world a kinder heart could not be found.Father Cassius, for years was High Priest at The Temple of the Creator in Deeptown. He steadfastly promoted goodness in a town of less
than noble aspirations. The townsfolk loved him, even those who followed a more darker path tended to at least respect the man. Sadly the Church Elders at Cathedral City found his more
tolerant views to be less than desirable and they refused to grant him the promotions he was due. His kindly influence and diplomacy were not desired at the capital. During his tenure in
Deeptown he engaged in many noble causes and quests, recently, he fought valiantly against the Bone Church and would have died in that conflict were it not for the adventurers now known as
The Deeptown Six rescuing him. He immediately went back to work at his Church after that ordeal, many would say too soon, for he soon sickened. His last act was as noble as
his life, he restored a young Gnoll hero to life, Galahad a warrior of the Deeptown Six. Cassius died restoring Galahad back to life. Since his tragic death, the local Church
has tried to maintain itself, but his loss has hurt and saddened the entire community. Much speculation about his death continues, one rumor hints that he was poisoned,
however, we may never know the truth, and his body has vanished from its sacred grave.
